This screening session at the 2026 Human vs. AI Film Premiere brings together Nominated Films, Official Selections, and Notable Selections that explore how human storytellers and generative AI shape these contrasting emotional experiences. Through romance, devotion, conflict, unease, and moral instability, the films reveal different ways of building intimacy, controlling atmosphere, and provoking powerful audience reactions.

Together, the program invites viewers to consider how human and machine creativity may differ or overlap in expressing affection, hostility, vulnerability, and the complex emotional space between them.

The film lineup and individual titles will be announced in early September, following the conclusion of the jury’s evaluation for the 2026 Human vs. AI Film Festival. Bringing together film industry professionals, generative AI experts, and film scholars from around the world, the festival is a truly international effort, and a uniquely timely cinematic experiment exploring the evolving relationship between human creativity and generative AI.
