About the event

Experience a one-of-a-kind movie event where human filmmakers and AI take on the same challenge: making audiences feel something.

The Joy & Sorrow screening explores two of cinema’s most powerful emotions. Some films will make you laugh, smile, and feel hopeful. Others may move you through stories of loss, longing, vulnerability, and reflection.

What makes this screening different is that you won’t know whether each film was created by a human filmmaker or with AI until the reveal. Just watch the films, experience the emotions, and decide for yourself: Who can move you more: a human or AI?

The 2026 Human vs. AI Film Premiere features nominated and selected short films from the 2026 Human vs. AI Film Festival across four screening sessions:

Joy & Sorrow

Intensity & Serenity

Love & Hate

Desire & Disgust

An All-Access Pass is available for all 4 sessions. Each session explores a different side of human emotion through a collection of short films.

This session focuses on Joy & Sorrow, giving audiences a chance to experience great stories while taking part in a fun and unusual cinematic experiment about creativity, emotion, and the future of filmmaking.

The festival brings together filmmakers, AI creators, and film experts from around the world, but you don’t need to know anything about AI to enjoy it. Just come watch the movies, feel what you feel, and see if you can tell who or what made them.
