FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SILICON VALLEY, Calif., November 1, 2026: Sparknify, the Silicon Valley tech media and events company, today announced that it is supporting the Taiwan Advanced Automotive Technology Development Association (TADA) in promoting the Taiwan Mobility Pavilion at CES 2027 in Las Vegas. The pavilion, themed "Building the Smart Vehicle as One," brings eight Taiwanese companies to LVCC West Hall, Booth #4577, from January 6 to 9, 2027.

Sparknify is running the pavilion's U.S. outreach so that carmakers, suppliers, robot builders and fleet operators can book time with the companies before the show opens.

Why the timing matters for carmakers and robot builders

The car is becoming a machine that must see, think, remember, manage its own power and keep improving after it leaves the factory, and robots now face the same demands. CES 2026 was widely described as the year of physical AI: robots, autonomous vehicle technology and robotaxis filled the Las Vegas Convention Center, and that shift has only accelerated since.

Three pressures are reshaping what U.S. buyers need from their suppliers.

More sensing, more compute. General Motors plans an eyes-off version of Super Cruise for the 2028 Cadillac Escalade IQ, built on cameras, radar and lidar, a choice that has reopened the fight over camera-only driving. Meanwhile humanoids, delivery robots and off-road machines are taking automotive-grade cameras and depth sensors into dust, glare and ice.

Memory and supply risk. Ford counted pricier memory inside a roughly $2 billion headwind on its October 28 earnings call, and S&P Global Mobility expects the DDR4 and LPDDR4 chips used in most current cockpit and ADAS designs to dry up from 2028. Programs that run seven to ten years need suppliers that will still be shipping parts in 2035.

Software that keeps paying. GM reported more than $800 million in recognized revenue from OnStar and Super Cruise in its third quarter of 2026, even as it brought CarPlay back to its trucks. Every vehicle and robot sold now needs secure over-the-air updates, diagnostics and central computers that can grow with the program.

Taiwan already builds much of the world's electronics and semiconductors, and its automotive suppliers offer automotive-grade quality with supply chains outside the regions U.S. buyers are trying to reduce exposure to. The Taiwan Mobility Pavilion puts eight of them in one place, so a sourcing team can cover sensing, compute, memory, power and software in a single visit.

The eight exhibitors at Booth #4577

oToBrite (Booth A): Automotive-grade Vision-AI cameras, with more than 1.2 million shipped, now built as GMSL2 and 3D stereo modules for robots and unmanned vehicles.

ESMT (Booth B): AEC-Q100 DRAM, LPDDR and Flash from an ISO 26262 certified supplier, made in Taiwan with seven to ten year supply commitments.

Pegatron (Booth C): VEYON, a unified cockpit and sensing platform on one scalable central computer, from a Tier 1 that supplies ECUs to the world's top ten automakers.

Carota (Booth D): A Physical AI lifecycle platform that delivers automotive-grade OTA updates, remote diagnostics and AI fleet management to more than 6 million connected vehicles.

Sentec (Booth E): High conductivity ceramic substrates, turnkey Si, GaN and SiC power module packaging, and integrated motor and inverter units, from an automotive supplier founded in 1968.

MICROIP (Booth F): Automotive-grade edge AI for commercial fleets, covering traffic light recognition, blind spot detection and driver monitoring, backed by custom ASIC design services.

Kinpo Electronics (Booth G): An ARM-based smart cockpit platform, mmWave radar and camera monitoring systems, built at OEM/ODM scale across 16 production bases.

eYs3D Microelectronics (Booth H): 3D depth sensing chips, stereo and ToF cameras and XINK edge AI modules for machines that move, from unmanned vehicles to smart parking.

How Sparknify helps companies grow in the U.S.

A booth at CES opens the door, but U.S. market entry is won in the months before and after the show. Sparknify works with Taiwanese and international technology companies on the marketing and sales groundwork that turns a first meeting into a U.S. customer.

Market positioning. Turning engineering specifications into a clear story for U.S. buyers, investors and media, in English and Traditional Chinese.

Content that reaches the industry. News-driven articles, company pages and studio shows such as SV Spotlight, distributed through Sparknify's site and social channels to Silicon Valley technology communities.

Lead generation and matchmaking. Booking pages and outreach that put companies in front of the right perception, sourcing and product leads, with every meeting request tracked by exhibitor.

Events and introductions. Live events such as Spark Night, startup showcases and investor programs that connect companies with Silicon Valley partners, customers and capital.

Questions & Answers

Q1: Why are carmakers suddenly worried about where the memory chips in their cockpits and driver assistance systems will come from?

Programs run seven to ten years, and the DDR4 and LPDDR4 chips in most current designs are expected to dry up from 2028 as chipmakers chase AI demand. That squeeze, and what it costs carmakers like Ford, is the subject of the fight over older memory chips.

Q2: How have Taiwanese technology companies been introducing themselves to Silicon Valley partners, customers and investors before CES?

Many start with a stage in front of the right audience rather than cold outreach. At TechCrunch Disrupt 2026, ITRI, Phison and a group of Taiwanese startups made the case for Taiwan's role in physical AI during a Taiwan session at the conference, a model the CES pavilion now extends to mobility.

Q3: How can a carmaker, Tier 1 supplier or robot builder meet the eight Taiwan Mobility Pavilion exhibitors at CES 2027?

The pavilion sits in LVCC West Hall, Booth #4577, from January 6 to 9, 2027. Each exhibitor has its own page with a short product summary and a form, and visitors can book a call, an email exchange or a booth meeting at sparknify.com/taiwan-pavilion-en before the show. Calls and emails also work for teams not traveling to Las Vegas.
