Silicon Valley Night - Episode #1: Found(Her)-The Startup Sisterhood: Food, Law & Grit
How hard is it to start a business as a woman? From setting up a food stall, sourcing ingredients, building a brand, filing taxes, signing contracts, to managing all the chaos of live events—every step is a challenge.
In this special episode of Found(Her) we’ve invited two inspiring young founders to share their honest, unfiltered startup journeys:Peggy Hsieh from OMG Entertainment, and Vivian Ho from Taiwan’s iFoodMap, a food sourcing expert with 15+ years in the culinary industry. They’ll reveal how they survived the tough times—and the legal traps they almost fell into.
We’re also joined by one of the most trusted legal voices in the Chinese community, Attorney Chang Chiu, who will break down what every woman founder needs to know to stay legal and stay smart—whether you’re just starting out or already running a brand.
The conversation will be moderated by Sophie Lin, IP attorney at ITRI (Taiwan’s Industrial Technology Research Institute), who will also share practical legal steps for building and protecting your brand.
Because building a business takes guts—but also protection. We’ll talk not only about experience and law, but also how to cope with pressure and find the support you need along the way.
Live Q&A and open-floor sharing will be part of the event, so come ready to ask, connect, and be heard.
Don’t cry alone on your startup journey — come laugh, learn, and level up with us!Get ready for a big surprise when the speaker takes the stage!"
