Join us for the Award Gala of the 2025 Human vs. AI Film Festival, a powerful conclusion to a day where technology and storytelling collide. This exclusive evening event honors the most compelling films showcased throughout the festival and brings together innovators, artists, and thought leaders at the intersection of creativity and AI.

The films are judged blindly by an international panel of esteemed academics, acclaimed directors, renowned actors, and digital effects pioneers — none of whom will know whether each film was created by a human or AI. Three awards will be presented:

• The Sparknify Humanity Award – our most prestigious honor, awarded to the film that most profoundly captures the essence of what it means to be human, whether created by a human filmmaker or an AI system

• Best Picture Award – for excellence in traditional filmmaking

• Best AI-Generated Film Award – recognizing outstanding creativity using generative AI tools

As AI becomes an increasingly powerful creative force, the Sparknify Humanity Award asks a bold question:

If an AI-generated film wins this year’s top honor, it could signal a cultural moment as significant as Garry Kasparov’s historic loss to IBM’s Deep Blue, when machine intelligence first challenged human dominance in chess. Now, the frontier is storytelling.

The event will be attended by leaders in film, media, and technology. The evening schedule is as follows:
